1. Information We Collect
There is no sign-up, no login, and no account of any kind. We collect no identity
information such as your name or email, and the content you record (notes, feelings,
triggers) never leaves your device.
To improve the product we do collect a minimal amount of anonymous usage data
that is not linked to your identity:
- Anonymous install identifier — a random ID generated when the app is
installed. It is not connected to your name, email or device identifiers, and a fresh
one is created if you reinstall.
- Product usage events — a fixed set of predefined event types (app open
once per day, statistics view, purchase-screen view and where it was opened, plan selection,
purchase started / completed / cancelled / failed with an error type, restore) with a timestamp.
Your recorded content cannot be included.
- No advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID) is requested or used.
- The iOS app contains no third-party analytics, crash-reporting or attribution SDK.
- Apple Search Ads attribution (iOS) — once per install, the app asks Apple's
AdServices framework for an attribution token and sends it, with the anonymous install identifier,
to our server. Our server sends the token to Apple, which answers only whether the install came
from an Apple Search Ads campaign (campaign / ad group / keyword IDs and country). No advertising
identifier is used and no tracking permission is requested.
Android app
- Anonymous usage events — a small, fixed set of anonymous events is sent to a server
we operate: first launch, whether the app was opened again on day 1 / day 7, whether the purchase (Pro)
screen was shown and where (Settings / Stats / lifetime upgrade / first-habit report preview),
purchase started / completed / cancelled / failed (on failure, the error type returned by Google Play),
and restore attempts. Each event carries only a random install identifier generated by the app, an app
label (Android), the event name and its time. Habit names, recorded content, name, email, device
identifiers and advertising IDs are never included. Raw events are deleted after at
most 90 days and kept only as aggregate counts.
- Google Analytics for Firebase — to measure whether paid ads lead to purchases, the app
sends a purchase-screen-shown event (with where it was opened) and a purchase-completed event (product ID,
price, currency). The Firebase SDK automatically collects information such as an app-instance ID,
device model, OS version, approximate region and app sessions. The advertising-ID (GAID) permission is
removed from the app, so no advertising ID is collected, and your recorded content is never included.
2. Where Your Data Lives
| Data | Purpose | Stored |
| Quit records, check-ins, streaks and notes | Your history and statistics | On your device |
| Anonymous install ID + usage events (type & time) | Product improvement (which features are used) | Our server |
| In-app purchase receipt (Apple-signed transaction, iOS) | Purchase validation | Our server (verification) |
| Anonymous usage events (random install ID only, Android) | Understanding where people drop off | Our server — raw up to 90 days, then aggregates only |
| Purchase-screen / purchase-completed events + Firebase automatic data (Android) | Measuring ad performance | Google (Firebase) |
3. Third-Party Services
The iOS app embeds no third-party SDKs; the only external party involved is Apple.
In the Android app, Google handles payments (Google Play) and analytics (Google Analytics
for Firebase) — see the Google Privacy Policy.
For iOS:
- In-app purchases — processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account.
We never see your payment details; our server only verifies the Apple-signed transaction
to validate the purchase.
Apple's handling of that data is governed by the
Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Overseas Transfer of Personal Data
Anonymous usage data may be processed on a global edge network (Cloudflare). Firebase analytics
data from the Android app is processed on Google servers (including in the United States). Since we do
not collect identity-linked personal data, no identity data is transferred abroad.
5. Advertising and Tracking
- No ads. The app displays no advertising of any kind.
- No tracking. Nothing about you is tracked across apps or websites.
The app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
6. Children
This app is for a general audience and is not primarily directed at children under 13.
It collects no identity information from anyone, including children.
7. Your Rights
- Deletion — deleting the app removes all local data. Server-side
anonymous events are not linked to your identity so they cannot be looked up per
person; on request we can guide deletion by install ID.
- Questions or requests — email us at the address below.

9. Changelog
| Date | Change |
| 2026-08 | Advertising was removed from the app, so the ad identifier, the ad-network third-party entry and the overseas-transfer section were removed. |
| 2026-09 | Documented anonymous usage data (install ID, product events) and server-side receipt verification to match actual app behavior. |
| 2026-10-01 | iOS app (1.5.2): the list of anonymous events now names statistics view, plan selection and purchase cancelled / failed (with an error type). Still a random install ID only; no new data type. |
| 2026-09-30 | The Android app is now described separately — anonymous usage events (random install ID only) and Google Analytics for Firebase (ad performance measurement). The earlier "no third-party analytics SDK" statement applies to the iOS app only. |
