Classgrid: Class Timetable

1. Information We Collect

No personal information. There is no sign-up, no login and no account of any kind. Your timetables (subjects, classes, rooms, teachers, notes, rotating weeks, cancellations and make-up classes), attendance records, exam dates and your reminder settings all stay on your device. The app contains no advertising.

No advertising identifier (GAID) is requested or used. No ad SDK is present.
No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK is present in the app.
Anonymous usage events only. The app sends a fixed, minimal set of anonymous events to our server (first launch, first successful use, whether the plan screen was shown and from where, purchase started / completed / cancelled / failed, restore, and a "still installed" ping on day 1 and day 7). Each event carries only an install identifier the app generates at random, an app tag, the event name and a timestamp. It never contains your timetable, subject or room names, notes, attendance, exams, e-mail, device identifiers or advertising ID. We use it solely to see where people drop off. Raw events are kept for up to 90 days, then only aggregate counts remain.

Notifications. Class reminders and the "tomorrow's first class" reminder are local notifications scheduled on your device. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn reminders on, and may ask you to allow exact alarms so reminders arrive on time (if you decline, reminders still work but may be delayed by the system). No push service is used.

Wallpaper (Pro, optional). When you tap "Set as wallpaper", the app sets an image of your timetable as your home or lock screen wallpaper on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Backup and sharing. Android's built-in app backup may copy the app's data to your own Google account backup if you have that enabled on your device; that is governed by Google, not by us. You can also export your timetable as a JSON file, an image or a PDF — the file goes only where you send it.

The only time your timetable leaves the app is when you tap Export or Share and choose where to send it — you pick the destination, and we are not part of it.

3. Third-Party Services

The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK. The only third-party component is Google Play Billing, which runs the purchase itself. The only external party involved is Google, and only for what you initiate:

In-app purchases and subscriptions — processed entirely by Google through your Google Account. We never see your payment details and receive no personal data from a purchase. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in Google Play.

Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Overseas Transfer of Personal Data

We transfer no personal data abroad. The anonymous usage events in section 1 are received on Cloudflare infrastructure (which may be located abroad) and contain no personal data.

5. Advertising and Tracking

No ads. The app displays no advertising of any kind.
No tracking. Nothing about you is tracked across apps or websites. No advertising ID is read.

6. Children

This app is intended for high-school and university students and other adults (13+) and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

7. Your Rights

Deletion — deleting the app removes all local data. Files you exported yourself and a wallpaper you set remain where they are. Anonymous usage events cannot be linked back to you and are discarded after 90 days.
