Feel First: HRV vs How I Feel
Effective: October 2026 · 한국어
No account. There is no sign-up, no login and no account of any kind.
Your daily check-ins (how you feel, 1–5), tags, notes and any sleep time you type in yourself stay on your device. The app contains no advertising.
If you choose Connect a watch, the app asks Android Health Connect for read-only access to three data types. You can allow any of them, none of them, or revoke them at any time in Health Connect.
| Data type | Why the app reads it | Stored |
|---|---|---|
| Sleep sessions (duration and awake stages) | Showing last night's sleep next to the feeling you chose, compared with your own usual range | On your device |
| Resting heart rate | Comparing today's value with your own baseline | On your device |
| Heart rate variability (RMSSD) | Observing whether it moves with how you feel | On your device |
| Past data (older than 30 days, optional) | Building your personal baseline on the first day instead of after weeks | On your device |
Not a medical device. The app shows personal observations and correlations, not diagnosis, treatment or prediction.
| Data | Purpose | Stored |
|---|---|---|
| Check-ins, first feeling, tags, notes, manually entered sleep | Your journal, today's reveal, history, calibration report | On your device |
| Health Connect values (section 2) | Comparisons with your baseline | On your device (excluded from backup) |
| Reminder and app settings | The morning reminder and how the app looks | On your device |
| Feel First Pro entitlement | Unlocking what you bought and restoring it | On your device (verified with Google Play) |
| Anonymous usage events (random install identifier only) | Seeing where people drop off | Our server — raw events for up to 90 days, then aggregates only |
Notifications. The optional morning reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It never contains any health value. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn the reminder on. No push service is used.
Backup. Android's built-in app backup may copy your journal (not Health Connect values) to your own Google account backup if you have that enabled; that is governed by Google. You can also export your journal as a JSON or CSV (Pro) file — it goes only where you send it.
The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK. Third-party components are Google Play Billing (purchases) and Android Health Connect (only if you connect it, read-only, on your device).
Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
We transfer no personal data abroad. The anonymous usage events in section 1 are received on Cloudflare infrastructure (which may be located abroad) and contain no personal or health data.
This app is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
