1. Information We Collect
No account. There is no sign-up or login. The game is played entirely on your phone; we run no game server and never receive your boards, progress or settings.
- Your progress stays on your phone. Solved boards, village restoration, daily history, hint balance, purchases you own and settings are stored in the app's private storage. You can export them to a file you choose (Settings → Export progress); the file contains no purchase receipts.
- Minimal usage events. Unless you turn off Settings → Anonymous gameplay analytics, the app sends a fixed, minimal set of events to a server we operate: first launch; the first board solved; returning on or after day 1 and day 7; a board completed or left unfinished (with only the board's number in its chapter); a hint used; the store shown and from which screen; a product chosen; purchase started / completed / cancelled / failed (with a generic error category); restore; a rewarded-ad offer shown, tapped or rewarded; and an interstitial ad shown.
Each event carries a random install identifier, an app tag, the event name and a timestamp, plus for some events a short label (which screen opened the store, a board number, or a generic error category).
The install identifier is a random number the app generates on first launch; it is not derived from your device, your Google account or any hardware or advertising ID, we do not link it to your identity and we do not share it. It is replaced if you clear the app's data or reinstall.
Events never contain purchase receipts, payment details or anything you type. Raw events are kept for up to 90 days, then only aggregate counts remain. Emulators and developer (debug) builds send nothing.
- Advertising. The free game shows ads through the SDKs listed in section 3, which process the advertising identifier (GAID), IP address and device information to deliver them (see sections 3 and 5).
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK is present in the app. The app requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage permission.
2. Where Your Data Lives
| Data | Purpose | Stored |
| Boards solved, village progress, daily history, settings | Playing the game | On your device |
| Purchases you own and hint balances | Unlocking what you bought and restoring it | On your device (purchases verified with Google Play) |
| Progress files you export | Keeping or moving your progress | Wherever you choose to save them |
| Usage events (with a random install identifier) | Seeing where players get stuck or drop off | Our server — raw events for up to 90 days, then aggregates only |
| Advertising identifier, IP address, device information | Delivering and measuring ads, fraud prevention | The ad partners in section 3, under their own policies |
3. Third-Party Services
Google Play Billing — in-app purchases are processed entirely by Google through your Google Account. The app only learns whether you own a product; we never see your payment details. Covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Ad mediation partners — ads are selected through Unity LevelPlay mediation, which runs a real-time auction among the networks below. Each network's SDK is included in the app and, when it takes part in an auction, may process the advertising identifier (GAID), IP address (used to estimate an approximate region), device information, ad-interaction data and SDK diagnostic/crash information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these SDKs are not started before you consent (section 5). Each partner's handling is covered by its own policy:
InMobi Choice — the consent tool shown in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. It stores your choices on your device in the standard IAB TCF format.
4. Overseas Transfer of Personal Data
Data listed in section 3 may be processed on the ad partners' servers abroad (e.g. the United States) as part of ad delivery. The anonymous usage events in section 1 are processed on Cloudflare infrastructure, which may be located abroad; they contain no personal data.
5. Advertising and Tracking
- The free game shows a banner at the bottom of the board screen, an interstitial ad between boards (never during your first six boards, at most after every third completed board, at least 90 seconds apart and at most 15 a day), and rewarded videos only when you tap to watch one (for an extra hint, or to double a board's village light). There are no ads in the tutorial, in the store, in story finales or inside paid side stories.
- The one-time Remove Ads purchase (or the Collection bundle) permanently removes banners and interstitials. Rewarded videos stay available only when you ask for one.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.
- Europe (EEA), the UK and Switzerland — before any advertising SDK starts, we ask for your consent through the InMobi Choice consent tool (IAB TCF v2.2). If you decline, or close the dialog without finishing it, no advertising SDK is initialised and the game is still fully playable. Your choice is stored on your device and you can reopen it at any time under Settings → Privacy choices to change or withdraw it.
6. Children
This game is for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13.
7. Your Rights
- Deletion — deleting the app (or clearing its data) removes all local data. Purchases stay with your Google Account and are restored automatically on reinstall.
- Opt out of usage events — Settings → Anonymous gameplay analytics.
- Questions or requests — including deletion of usage events linked to your install identifier — email us at the address below.
