QR Pocket (QRCard)

1. What we collect

There is no sign-up, no login and no account at all. We do not collect your name, email or any other identifying information, and the cards you save never leave your device. We run no server, and the app sends us no data.

Card data — the QR/barcode payload extracted from your photo, plus the name, category and colour label you type. Stored only in an App Group container on your device.
Photos — you pick one image yourself; the app reads it with Apple's Vision framework on the device and keeps only the code. The original image is never copied into app storage and is released from memory right after processing. The app does not browse your photo library.
We neither request nor use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
There is no third-party analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDK in the app. Every framework it uses is an Apple framework.

iCloud Sync is optional and runs only when you turn it on. The data is stored in your own iCloud and we cannot read it. Note that this is sync, not backup — a card you delete on one device is deleted on the others too.

3. App Lock (Pro)

With App Lock on, the card list and the widgets sit behind Face ID / Touch ID / your device passcode. Authentication is handled by iOS's LocalAuthentication framework; no biometric data is given to the app — it only receives success or failure.

4. Third parties

There is no third-party SDK in the app. The only outside party involved is Apple.

In-app purchase — payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details.
iCloud — if you turn sync on, the data is stored in your own iCloud account.

Apple's handling of that data follows the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. International transfers

We transfer no personal data across borders. We have no server and the app sends us nothing. If you turn iCloud Sync on, the data goes to your own iCloud account and that processing is between you and Apple.

6. Advertising and tracking

No ads. The app shows no advertising and makes no requests to any advertising network.
No tracking. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and the app never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

6-1. About version 1.0.1, currently on the store

Everything above describes version 1.1.0. Until that version clears review and ships, the version on the App Store is 1.0.1, and that build still contains the Google AdMob advertising SDK. While you are on 1.0.1:

The advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used for personalized advertising — only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission. Declining it leaves every feature of the app available.
In that case the advertising identifier may be transferred to Google LLC (United States), handled under the Google Privacy Policy.
1.0.1 has neither iCloud Sync nor App Lock.

Updating to 1.1.0 removes the advertising SDK from the app; it then neither requests nor uses the advertising identifier.

7. Children

This app is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We collect no identifying information from anyone, children included.

8. Your rights

Delete a card — long-press it in the card list.
Delete the iCloud copy — delete the card while sync is on and the iCloud copy and your other devices lose it too. If you switch sync off first, the copy already uploaded stays; you can remove it in iOS Settings > Apple Account > iCloud.
Delete everything — removing the app erases all of its on-device data.
