No account. There is no sign-up, no login and no account of any kind. The app contains no advertising.
Audio you choose to transcribe. Recordings and imported files stay on your device. When a recording or file is transcribed, its audio is sent in parts (up to 3 minutes each) over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes each part to an AI model (Google Gemini API) and returns the text. We do not store your audio or the text on our server — each part is processed in memory for that single request and then discarded. Parts that contain no sound are detected on your device and never sent.
Text you choose to summarize. When you tap Summarize, the transcript text is sent the same way to produce the summary, key points and action items, and is not stored by us.
Usage counters. To apply the free daily minutes and the fair-use limits, our server keeps, per day, the seconds transcribed and summaries made for a random install identifier the app generates, and the free seconds used from your network address — stored only as a one-way hash that changes every day (we never store the address itself). None of this contains a name, e-mail, device identifier or advertising ID.
Purchase check. If you subscribe or buy an hour pack, the app sends your Google Play purchase token so our server can confirm the purchase with Google and apply your minutes. We store only a one-way hash of that token, its status and the seconds used.
Anonymous usage events. A fixed, minimal set of anonymous events (first launch, first successful transcript, whether the plan screen was shown and from which screen, plan selected, purchase started / completed / cancelled / failed, restore, the first time a finished transcript is closed, whether a review prompt was requested, that a transcript was shared (not what or with whom), and a "still installed" ping on day 1 and day 7). Each event carries only the random install identifier, an app tag, the event name and a timestamp. Raw events are kept for up to 90 days, then only aggregate counts remain. Audio, transcripts and titles never enter these events.
Crash reports. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google) receives the technical crash report: stack trace, app version, device model, OS version and a random Crashlytics installation identifier. It contains no audio or transcript.
No advertising identifier is requested or used. No ad or analytics SDK is present.

Microphone. The microphone is used only while you record, shown by a notification. You can also import files instead.
Backup. Android's built-in app backup may copy your transcripts (not the audio files) to your own Google account backup if you have it enabled; that is governed by Google. Files you export go only where you send them.
Deleting. Delete any transcript, or only its audio, in the app; Settings → Delete all data removes everything; uninstalling removes all local data.
Google's handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Audio and text you transcribe or summarize are processed on Cloudflare and Google infrastructure, which may be located outside your country (including the United States). They are transferred at the moment of transcription, over an encrypted connection, only to produce the text, and are not retained by us.
Recording other people may require their consent where you live. Please record and transcribe only conversations you are allowed to.
Transcripts and summaries are produced by AI and can contain mistakes. Check important details against the audio.
This app is not directed at children under 13.
