ScrollCue: Teleprompter

1. Information We Collect

No personal information. There is no sign-up, no login and no account of any kind. Your scripts and the videos you record stay on your device. The app contains no advertising.

No advertising identifier (GAID) is requested or used. No ad SDK is present.
No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK is present in the app.
Anonymous usage events only. The app sends a fixed, minimal set of anonymous events to our server (first launch, first successful use, whether the plan screen was shown and from where, purchase started / completed / cancelled / failed, restore, and a daily "still installed" ping on day 1 and day 7). Each event carries only an install identifier the app generates at random, an app tag, the event name and a timestamp. It never contains your scripts, video, camera or microphone data, name, e-mail, device identifiers or advertising ID. We use it solely to see where people drop off. Raw events are kept for up to 90 days, then only aggregate counts remain.

Camera and microphone. The camera and microphone are used only while you record in the Record tab, and only after you grant permission. The picture and sound go straight into the video file saved on your device; nothing is streamed or uploaded, and the script overlay you see on screen is not burned into the video.

Display over other apps. If you turn on Floating mode, the app asks for the "display over other apps" permission so the prompter window can float above your camera or meeting app. This permission is used only to draw that window; it reads nothing from other apps.

The only time your scripts leave the app is when you tap Export or Share and choose where to send them — you pick the destination, and we are not part of it.

3. Third-Party Services

The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK. The only third-party component is Google Play Billing, which runs the purchase itself. The only external party involved is Google, and only for what you initiate:

In-app purchases and subscriptions — processed entirely by Google through your Google Account. We never see your payment details and receive no personal data from a purchase. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in Google Play.

Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Overseas Transfer of Personal Data

We transfer no personal data abroad. The anonymous usage events in section 1 are received on Cloudflare infrastructure (which may be located abroad) and contain no personal data.

5. Advertising and Tracking

No ads. The app displays no advertising of any kind.
No tracking. Nothing about you is tracked across apps or websites. No advertising ID is read.

6. Children

This app is for a general audience and is not primarily directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

7. Your Rights

Deletion — deleting the app removes all local data. Videos you saved to your gallery remain in your gallery until you delete them there. Anonymous usage events cannot be linked back to you and are discarded after 90 days.
